About This Project

The Bahrain LNG import terminal comprises a floating storage unit, an offshore LNG receiving jetty and breakwater, an adjacent regasification platform, subsea gas pipelines from the platform to shore, an onshore gas receiving facility, and an onshore nitrogen production facility.
It was a premiere for KAEFER in Bahrain to execute its key services on an offshore platform during its construction phase. The team performed intumescent fireproofing of the main LNG pipe rack structures as well as insulation activities of lines of trestle and loading areas, including cryogenic insulation.
