Permit Holder (Local National)

Desired Candidate’s Profile:

• More than five (5) years’ relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical Industry
  in both greenfield and brownfield.
• Should have previous experience as a low, medium, and high-risk permit holder in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Petrochemical Industry.

Brief Key Responsibilities:

• Able to effectively explain the hazards and control measures to the work party and see to it that the work party adheres to the controls.
• Able to speak and understand the language of the people working under the permit to explain the safety controls stipulated in the work permit and the associated documents.
• Must be able to speak and understand the English at IELTS level 5.5 or higher to converse with the client representatives on the work permit and the associated documents.
• Capable to conduct toolbox talks, where the Permit Holder identifies and communicates the risks inherent in the activity, along with corresponding controls to the personnel responsible for executing the work.
• Capable of ensuring that the work party understands the hazards and controls associated with the activity and the effectiveness of the implementation of the controls.
